-
The commissioning partner was the organizing committee of Trient Uprising, a young collective rooted in the Swiss climbing community. Their ambition was to professionalize the festival’s image while preserving its authentic, irreverent alpine spirit, and to attract climbers, artists, partners, and audiences beyond traditional outdoor-event circles.
-
The festival lacked a distinctive visual and verbal language, limiting recognition and scalability. Competing within saturated outdoor-event communication required a stronger identity to stand out, unify assets, and legitimize the event as a professional, ambitious cultural platform.
-
I designed a place-rooted yet disruptive identity system combining topography, alpine references, bold typography, and provocative tone of voice. The strategy balanced authenticity and visibility, ensuring memorability while remaining flexible across formats and channels.
-
The system was deployed across logo, colors, typography, patterns, posters, stickers, social assets, motion graphics, signage, and photography. Modular composition rules ensured coherence, while location-specific imagery and narratives transformed the program into a cohesive visual story.
Impact
Trient Uprising is now supported by a fully articulated and scalable creative system, designed to guide its evolution from a niche climbing gathering into a visible and recognizable alpine festival.
The identity establishes coherence across print, digital, motion, and on-site applications, and has received highly positive feedback. The bold visual language and distinctive tone clearly position the festival within the outdoor ecosystem, providing a solid foundation for future editions to deploy confidently, grow sustainably, and build long-term recognition without compromising authenticity or creative edge.
